Double click the DISNEY icon to launch the program. The Images and text can be downloaded on the Mac side by clicking the download button in the lower right corner in the program. On the windows side use the directories labeled BONUS and HI_RES.
This CD-ROM disc is written for Macintosh/HFS and MS-DOS/ISO 9660 formats and will work on either the Macintosh or Windows platforms.
These are the preferred settings and system requirements for WALT DISNEY PICTURES cd-rom press kit on the Macintosh:
Quit all other applications.
Use at least a double speed CD-ROM drive.
Monitors may be set to thousands of colors, but 256 colors setting is recommended. 101 DALMATIANS MacroMedia Director™ application is designed to run on computers that support a minimum of 256 colors on the Macintosh and Windows platforms. If your system supports thousands or millions of colors, leave the monitor control panel settings at the highest level for the best quality digital movie playback on the Macintosh. On Windows platforms, 256 colors are recommended for optimal performance.
Select a monitor setting of 640 x 480 for large monitors.
Turning off AppleTalk in the Chooser will improve video playback, however, the printing functions will be disabled if your printer is connected to the network.
Change the System highlight color, from the Control Panel, Color, to Black and White.

WINDOWS NOTES:
If the program suffers from General Protection Faults or it exhibits strange-looking screen images, then the most logical culprit is the display driver for your video card. Try these steps to rule out other possibilities:
First, set the display to 640x480 pixels with 256 colors, and try again.
If the problems persist, then take steps to prevent memory managers in DOS and Windows from using the video card's memory area. (Consult the manual that came with your video card to determine this area.)
